This part of the site introduces you to our transport and leader and shows scenes and wildlife that could not be fitted into the other pages.

The trip started with a two-day drive from Windhoek, the capital city of Namibia, into Botswana and through the Kalahari to the Okavango Delta.

The Mahango Game Park is just inside Namibia across the border from Botswana. It is small, but provided our first sight of some of the animals we would be seeing much more of later on.

The Etosha National Park occupies some 300,000 square kilometres. We spent three days and nights there observing a wide variety of animals, birds and insects.

Twyfelfontein is the site of some prehistoric rock carvings and paintings.

The Namib Desert runs North-South just inland of the Skeleton Coast, home, among other things of the Cape Cross Seal Reserve.

Namibia is home to some of the highest sand dunes in the world. We took a trip up the well known "Dune 45" and visited "Dead Vlei", home of "old trees".
